Expertise

The page you are reading now is in formation as I have yet to fully codify or express all my commercially available (since November 2009) skill sets and expertise.

My work Philosophy:

Provide the best possible solution within infrastructure and resources.

My work Principles:

Maximize:

  • Brand/Corporate Identity Awareness
  • Consumption (including sales) of produced applications, products and services.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction (share holders, consumers, etc...)

My work skills:

  • Brand Identity Crafting/Formation
  • Experience Design
  • Interaction Design

My Process:

I have processes of my own for each unique skill  which I have no intention of publically publishing as doing so would be equivalent to Mc Donald's giving away the secret recipe to their Big Mac sauce (or Google giving away their search algorithms.)

I don't solely use my own process as I combine my own process with an existing process or formulate a customized process to work within an existing or predicted context.

My work Environment:

I don't see myself as a direct employee  as my expertise is best spent serving multiple corporations or organizations (simultaneously when required) who are in need of someone to complement or lead existing teams without incurring additional overhead expenses of a direct employee.

I am currently forming a corporate identity in a Limited Liability Partnership (India's equivalent to an American LLC) to handle more formal corporate engagements.

Previous work prior to November 2009:

I have performed similar functions connected to my expertise while wearing the following hats:

  • Application Feature Designer
  • Information Architect
  • Social Media Designer
  • Social Media Optimizer

A few job roles I've extensively performed in the past as an independant professional/consultant:

  • Drupal site building
  • Transforming designs into website themes
  • Content editing/management

In a guest article for the Harvard Business Review, Tim Brown states that Edison implemented Design Thinking while inventing the light bulb.

Tim Brown also states that implementing design during the end stages of development cycle is a tactical use of design and at best "and results in limited value creation" compared to strategically implementing design at the earlier stages of development where design thinking processes can generate the most value.
